SUBJECT: IMPROVEMENT OF THE ACTUAL BUDGET FOR SCHOOLS OF PEREIRA

PURPOSE
          This report is written with the purpose to expose some critical situations that are happening in public schools, also, there are some suggestions written that could be taken into account for the comming changes that will take place in the city of Pereira.

LIMITED BUDGETS

         Nevertheless schools are afforded by the city budget to fulfill the basic needs, there are some issues that need be improved. firstly, most of the small schools located in the outskirts do not have medical room. Secondly, the current computers are out-of-date so that the existent informatic program cannot be developed succesfully. Finally, students living in the surroundings, are sometimes late for school.

General Improvements Suggested
         There are some improvements that would help the current student's condition. to begin with, I believe that building a medical room would help the schools' staff to be ready in case of emergency, and students could be taught about how first aids are given. Also, it is recommended to have the computers upgraded with the most recent operative system. in this way, computers needed to develop classes will work succesfully. Finally, a mean of transportation could be hired. by doing this, the students would be taken on by schools in order to get students on time for their classes.

Conclusion

          In conclusion, although it is known that the actual scholar budget covers most of the basic needs, I believe that the suggested solutions would improve even more the academical skills of the students.
